2. The Aeronautics Department is situated at Dresden A16, Duererstr 24. The
promises house administrative offices, institutes, lecture halls and accomo-

about 150 students.
3. The syllabus for the 3rd, 5th and 7th terms is as follows:

4. On 31 December 1953, the Aeronautics Department had, in its subdivision
at the Hygiene Museum, a Patriot single-seater glider built by Nagema of
Bad Schmiedeberg. It was learned on 22 December.1953 that a Sokol singl.e-
engined, 3-Yseater aircraft with . .. retractable undercarriage, was
to be delivered to the Institute in January 1954 at a price of between 18,000
and 20,000 DM East. Initially this would be kept at Leipzig airfield;
negotiations were believed to be going on between the State Secretariat for
Higher Education and the Soviet Occupation Authorities with a view to making
Klotzsche airfield near Dresden available to the Institute.
5. The staff instructing 7th term students includes&

and matriculated in the Workers and Peasants Faculty of Rostock University
after the war,
7. All the institutes of the Light Construction Section are believed to have
research assignments.
8. Professors Mueller and Landmann have suggested that if there are no vacancies
for the 7th term students in industry, they will be retained at the Institute
as assistants. In November 1953, after a three day visit to the State
