The Widzew Textile Machinery Factory was erected in 19148-50 near the ulioa
Armii Ozerwonel in Lodz, and was 9Sually referred to as Wifama. (For
location, see !ketch attached). The number of workers employed is not known.
Production, started in the summer of 1951, was devoted exclusively to turning
out machine carbines li2. Four or five shops,, each approximately 20 x 80 meters

2. The Power Plant of the Widzewska Manufaktura factory was formerly capable of
producing 8 MW. In the Autumn of 1953, however, because of the necessity of
supplying Wifama with electric current, the capacity was increased by 3.6 MW.
The power plant has the following equipment:
2 Howden of 3 MW. capacity
1 AEG of 5 MW. capacity
1 "Stahl" (steel) of 3.6 MW. capacity
1160 MWO
