On 14 May 1953, the Koenig Georg Kaserne, Dresden, was occupied by about 230 troops wearing red-bordered black epaulets with tank insignia. On 13 May, 10 soldiers were cleaning weapons in the barracks yard. I. 2. On 14 May, the sentry guarding the MG Kaserne at Alaun "latz wore black-border- ed crimson epaulets. On 9 May, about 12C troops were lied up in the barracks yard; and, on 14 May, 28 soldiers were seen at physical training and soccer, with 20 soldiers wearing red-bordered black epaulets and 1C soldiers wearing black-bordered crimson epaulets watching the game. 2 3.
