(1) To show the amount of significant information for
intelligence available in current newspapers and peri-
odicals. (2) To become familiar with standard bibli-
ographical guides. (3) To develop skill in abstract-
ing pertinent information for use in a strategic area
study.

Library files of periodicals, standard guides and indices.
3 hours, plus unassigned time during first two weeks of
