1. Letter Contract No. 8..5111 obligates the am of $20,000.00
for a feasibility study by the Contractor in ecuneetion with celestial
navigation systems for use in Project AAUAT?1m. Period of performance
was to 17 November 1955.
2. Anendwsut No. 1 to Letter Contract No. 1.5111 obligated an
additional $15.000. making a now total obligated of $35.000.00, and
period of porfor ors we extended to 1 Deesober 1955. Aneadwissnt
No. 1 did not change the original soaps of vark.
3. Anandmsnt No. 2 to Letter Contract no. $-5111 obligates an
additional $23,000.00 over and above Amendment No. 19 making a new
total obligated of $60,000.00. Amemdment No. 2 makes psu4aiom in
the scope of work for the cul*inatioa of one phase of the f assibilit7
study (Systen 1 - sextant) on 19 December 1955 and the presentation
by the Contractor on that date of the preliminary design and loot
of the System 1 sextant. Ames No. 2 also provides for a con-
tinuation of certain feasibility studies on navigational systems
