THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. The Hydrographic Institute of the Yugoalav Navy has been gathering data,
exploring, and preparing new navigation charts for a considerable period of
time.
2. From 191.5 to the present, the Institute has published 19 different charts of
the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea of which 15 are entirely new, while the
remaining four are old Yugoslav navigation charts with new data appended.
.3, The Institute has finished calculations concerning the magnetic declination
of the Adriatic Sea. This work has boon achieved with the cooperation of the
Adriatic Institute of the Yugoslav Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Geographical
Institute of the Faculty of Nat'ual Sciences and Mathematics of ~,agreb, the
Institute for Geographical and Mining Research of the Technical Faculty of uagreb,
and the Geo.-Officers' (sic) Institute. A new magnetic chart of the Adriatic will
soon be published based on these new data.
By calculating and measuring the magnetic declination from Porec to U].cinj,
as well as in the Magnetic station near Split, it has been established that
