2. On 19 and 20 July 1950 the Artillerie Kaserne on Nedlitzerstrasse was occu-
pied by an engineer unit of about 15O men wearing the axe and mnade insignia.
The Delius Kaserne on Nedlitzerstrasse was occupied by about l5i men wea ring
red bordered black epaulets. An officer and three B held aiming practice
with a Can of about 120 mm with vertical equtlf ratoo, on the drill ground
opposite the ontrai e. The IIohenlohe Kaserne on ITedlitzerstraase was occu-
pied by about 150 men wearing red-bordered black epaulets. The Ludendorff
Kaserne on Nedlitzerstrasse was about 50 percent occupied. The troops, who
wore red bordered black epaulets, were estimated at 500 men. (3).
3, On 19 July 1950 four biplanes landed at the Bornstedter Feld. The planes
were then parked in the ha. gar belonging to the Kriegsschule. The six bi-
planes previously stationed there were shipped away on 17 June 1950 and no
other planes were observed.
An artillery unit and the entire headquarters from the De23is Kaserne left
on 19 July 1950 for firing practice in Altongrebo;7 (M 53/Z 00). Fight 152-
guns, eight trucks, one radio truck, one field kitchen and about 120 B1,41 of
older classes wr a A gas alarm practice was held at the barracks
on 20 July 1950 Officers and Et hurried to the clothing depot
to receive their gas mss s. fitting of the gas masks was checked with the
individual units. The soldiers wearing their gas masks, later marched for 30
minutes in the yard of the installation. This was repeated on 22 and 21L. July
1950. The soldiers on guard e1vaya carried gas masks. During the drills
