25X1A. Co1!ament~ The three sources agree on the co~xstrue-
tion of concrete runway, Which was j--roviously known.;
The statement that this runway is to be 1, 400 meters long
seems to be exaggerated. According to krevious irforAriation
it will, be from. 2,000 to 29500 meters long. The target
deter the com.ietion of the runway is redorted for the
first time. The runs ay under construction in Koethen is
also said to be scheduled for corrra,letion about the same
date, 15 August 1950. The occufation of the airfield by
army units is confirmed. No air unit is -,resently stationed
at the field. For sketch cf airfield, see unnexo
1 Annex: Layout sketch of Neurul fin Airfield.
