1. Only 10 of the 140 Yugoslav pilots who originally received their instruction
and training in the Soviet Union are still in the Yugoslav Air Force. The
others were arrested or demobilized as being politically insecure and un-
desirable in the Air Force
2, Ivan Bortner and Franc Leban, both pilots, were arrested and imprisoned
in Zagreb. 'Lieutenant Colonel Djuka Bozovic, a pilot, was first de-
mobilized and subsequently arrested and imprisoned in Belgrade.
