1. a. A large Soviet tank spare parts depot and a pertaining
repair shop ware located in the former "Speer" Cantonment,
about 1,600 feet southeast of the `TU;1LLROSE (N 53/V 42)
25X1A railroad station. The depot, consisted of two
separate sections with a railroad spur track and a total of
30 to 35 large storage houses. Lt Co"I. GOI,ONYOV was depot
coal andant; 1Ma; HOLANOVSKI his deputy.
b. The followinZ observations were mace in one of the two
depot sections:
(1) One warehouse (330 x 80 feet),, used to capacity for the
storage of JS 122 tanks;
(2) One warehouse (330 x 80 feet), used to capacity for the
storage of tank tracks, track sl-:oes, driver wheels, track-
supportin:g rollers and axles;
(3) One four-store warehouse (230 x E. fact ), uses to capa-
city for the storar e of rnotorcycics.
(4) One warehouse (230 x 65. eet), u:,ed for the stora.ae of
passenger cars w.*th grey camouflage-paint;
(5) Two warehouses, equi-.ped as .11otor vehicle repair shops.
c. T:e de-:ot regularly received shipments of tank spare
parts, particularly of truck oboes of various sizes, from
a workshop in Saxony. Material which was classified unser-
viceable when sorted was placed as scrap at the d.tsposal of
the Brandenburg Government. Unserviceable track shoes were,
however, melted down b,~ the Soviet j~rtriy itself, because of
their high percenta,se of :pan:^anese and de ;ree of hardness.
The track shoes concerned were 500 x 220 n1+n in size, with five
ears on one side and four ears on the other. The ear: (std) were
22 rmu in diataeter?; the pertaining bolls were 550 m.-m Ionr-.
The track shioes were ,narked "2OO A " on the inside.

2. Two heavily rruaraed Soviet def~ots were observed south of
the JJELLRO E reilroad station. Local residents stated that
the depot west of the rai.lrcad line wr;s an a;i:unition depot
and the one east of the . eilr ac 1 'rie a former automobile
factory. The truck was seen entering the depot 25X1A
west of the reilroacj line.

3. Little activity was observed in the tank spare parts depot
(former "`T'odt Urcanization" Cantonment) near '.tJELLROSE.
A technical unit of about 1:vto hundred men was stationed in
