"advice". Letters, for example, from K. I. Koval to Minister Heinrich Rau benin

5. Work continues in accordance with Order No. 101, issued in August 1949 bar
General Chuikov to the DWK, which called for the building of certain stretches
of railroad track to enable Soviet Zone traffic to avoid passing through
Berlin. However, the construction is not supervised by the new government,
but kr Soviet ArtV engineer troops under a Guards colonel. The work is to
be completed by 1 March 1950.
