1. Arlin Bey Hanalah, forayer aouistant leader of the Il man al-;,uslimin in
Lebanon, has returned there after having spent some time in Aran,
Transjordan. He is spreading propaganda among the Druzes in support
of King tAbduliah. Sal.Lm Haiaadah, a retired Lebanese Gondarraerie
corirumder, and Rashid Pay Jurablat are aa. isting ~kain Ley Hanadah in,
this activity. Other iAbdullah propagandists rrorldng in Syria include
Ilasib Bakri, 'Abd-al-Ik:mid Tabbat, Wadih Shishakli, Naaib Gaylani,
Abu Iluda Hasibi, Sheikh Ahmad Digr and Sheilah Yauil Qassab. Those
rorking in Lebanon :include Sand Sulh, Sulayrsan 'Ali, Ilassuh Agha Emil,
Rashid Baydun, and ' lui d 'bb-,id (all of 'whom are members of the
Lebanese Clamber of Deputies), Sheikh '__unir J:ugdin, and 'Iugaddam 'Ali lbzbar,
a Druze judge. These men Iu'.vo hold moeting in Beirut at the horse f
Al:raa Gay ani, long kmmni as in the e. ploy of King 'Abdullah. Ha t Hakim,,
former Syrian Prime L.1inist/-;r, has also attended these iaeotings.

and :Iuhamraad Ilanzarri, have been in Syria, spreading props andaa awn? the
tribes against King tAbduillahh and in support of Icing Ibn Sauud. T14
Syrian Government has assisted these propagandists, rho accuse
King iAbdullah of serving the Zionists and imperialists, and of hav" ng
brought ruin to the Arabs,, They have been urging the Syrian, people t4)
oppose the Greater Syria project, in order to keep out British iLperia-
lism and to preserve their freedom.
