1. `1'he $al~oyingtxu airfield is seven kilometers east of Sokoyizs~t~u 8tatioa, which is
about forty kiloweters northwest of Paichengt~u (1221.5?,, 45?-37).
2. Sokoyingtau airfield ira an the northernmost extremity of a plateau adfacent to the
plateau an x-hich pingtai a>~d Piaganchea airfields are located. The canditiana at
the aiz~t'ield are similar to those of the Pingtai sad pinganchen airfields -- a hand
flat surface with a dense growth of grass that enables the airfield to withstand
hea~ey rains without becon~iag muddy.
~, Throe har~ars ca~x be seen from the Paichengtzu Wangyehmiao (12? Ol, 4i&_Q5) railroad
that runs west of the airfield. There is a radio station at the airfield and
electricity is suvplied by t~hs ~~.er p3ant at Faichengtzu.
