The airf ld is 'located about seven lcilcwtars north of Beagrade, a bit on the left hand side of the Balgrade-Zemm bi a ` and raJlroad tracks The 1w.ng field is bounded by a runway of a cent and tar construction, about 10 meters wide. For to-offa and landing,, ox the western sib -f the run- way, about one kilotuter in length,, is used. ?. the eastern side there is a aaaa2l office and the oompUtely reconstructed hangar, which shelters about seven or eight .ti tared planes. Near the hangar are two w three brick buildings which are used for different headquarters offices and a waiting station for the passengers of civilian airlines. T ulf the east n side of the field is a road which joins the airfield with the B e Z m highway. The city of Ze mnn is about one . ter frota the fielAL 2. There 3s no exact information on the detachments located on the field" The hangar is occupied by about 20 pursuit planes, some of which are Spit- fires., some tri metor transport pll antis, including some JUk-52, and a few artillery spotter-type planes. Along the lower eastern side of the field is a reserved section for foreign planes (Russian, Politsh, Bulgarian, and Czech). These planes are for the greater part trri otor transports. This t ter section also holds a few Russian pursuit planes and a Low artillery spa types.
