B-3 1. The 65 Rent of New 22 Division and elements of 1% Division are mopping up
Communists in the Fu-chou (121-44, 39-44) region.
B-3 2. The Nationalist 149 Regiment of 50 Division crossed the Sungari River and attacked
Tao-laichao (125-55, 44-53) / eawnab]y on 24 January as scheduled3 cf. SO-28&2a/.
The Nationalists also attacked Wu-Chia-chan (3-25^-381, 44-57) and Wu ko-shu (126-O9,
44-47) with =all forces.

Tsingtao - 23 January
F-3 3. On 24 January,, 10,000 troops of the Ccumunist 5 and 6 Erncapation Divisions
launched an attack 8 miles northwest of Chi-mo (120-29, 36-24) against the
Nationalist 7 Regiment of 3 Garrison Brigade. Fighting still continues, with
heavy Nationalist casualties. Reinforcements are being sent, consisting of
the 46 Division from Chiao-hsien (120-01, 36-17) and the 2 Garrison Brigade
fan Chi- o.
