Two workshops making military shoes wholly out of leather;
One. workshop making 200 pairs daily;
Two workshops for civilian footwear with rubber soles, for use in factories
and mines. Daily output of one workshop 800 pairs,
Four workshops making fabric footwear (trade name) for the Bata concern,
Daily output of two workshops 1,000 pairs each, while the remaining two
each produce 1,200 pairs,
In the rubber department,, all three workshops have been producing 600 pairs
daily, The monthly output has averaged approximately 180,,000 m 200,000 pairs
of footwear of all kinds. The entire output of army footwear has been taken
over by the Soviets.

Raw materials are supplied for the production of leather shoes by the Warsaw
administration, Rubber is supplied from URM allocations, while raw materials
for footwear made of fabric are purchased on the open market.

All workers are given monthly ration cards. Workers in the rubber and glue
shop receive regular fortnightly extra rations of 3 kilogram of bacon and * liter
of milk daily, because of the unhealthy nat(.are of the work, Other workers receives,
25X1X6 apart from ration card ?allocations, I kilogram of bacon per month and l kilogram
of sugar; this extra ration is issued regularly, During Ohristmes:and Easter,
special food grants are issued. During May
ration cards; other foodstuffs were not available because of shortage? All
extra allocations were issued by the factory from its own funds.
6. A collective- bargaining agreement was signed on 1 April 1946.
