The Warsaw-Wyszkow-Ostrow Mazowiecka-Zambrow-Bialystok road, 188 kms. in length, is to be reconstructed as a strategic East-West arterial road during 1952. The sectors of the road which at present are of asphalt, will be given a concrete surface. These sectors are: Radzymin-Wyszkow (29 kms.) and Ostrow Mazowiecka-Zambrow-Bialystok (98 kms.).l The sectors Warsaw-Radzymin (23 kms.) and Wyszkow-Ostrow Mazowiecka438 kms.), which ate of broken stones, will also be given a concrete surface. Work has begun on the sector Ostrow Mazowiecka-Zambrow. 2.e The Krakow-Katowice road is to be widened by 4 meters. 3. Reconstruction of the Zary-Przewoz road was completed in November 1951 and reopened to traffic. The road is 9 meters wide and has an asphalt surface. 4. On 3 December 1951, work was started on, laying an underground cable from Legnica railroad station in the direction of Zagan. The cable is 8 cm. thick and consists of four smaller cables. The work is being conducted by a company of signalmen. 1.
