RD REFERENCES THE SOURCE EVALUATIONS IN THIS REPORT ARE DEFINITIVE. THE APPRAISAL OF CONTENT IS TENTATIVE. (FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) The following naval vessels were) at Sassnitz 4. a. ERNST THAELMANN, with two masts and a radio antenna. Armament: one 105-mm gun on the foredeck, two double 20-mm guns on the bridge deck, three 105-mm guns on the afterdeck, and antiaircraft artillery on a special bridge on the after- deck. The radar antenna was covered. b. Four minesweepers of the German M-type, with two masts and a radio antenna between them. Armament: one 105-mm gun on the foredeck, two double 20-mm guns and several machine guns on the afterdecks No radar was observed. c. Auxiliary vessel (tug). Armament: one 37-mm gun on the foredeck. The vesse had two masts, with a radio antenna between them. d.
