There are four railroad lines, three passenger an one freight. Two lines lead to Lodz, one to Poznan and the freight line leads from Ostrov through.Kaliez to Lodz. This freight line does not enter the station but passes two kilometers south of it. The station faces Upper Silesia Street on the southwestern edge of the town. 2. Old customs building in the center of Nowy Swiat Street. 3. Barracks for- the 25P~i veto Artillery Regiment. The army too over t~iis building in 1937. 4. Another barracks building for the 25th Field Artillery Regiment. 5. This is the town's principal square, called the 11th of November Square.
