1? On 11 au ust 1950 eleven jet fighters were parked in the south-
eastern corner of the landing field at Brandis (N 52/: 31) air-
fieldo * Behind the planes stood six to eight corunand cars.
Eleven tank trucks wore lined at the side. One two-seater fighter
with radial engine was standing near the tank trucks; two radio
trucks and a fire truck were in front of the tank trucks, Four
fighters with radial engines? used for retraining, were also at the
