This division, formerly the Nationalist 154 Division under P1 Shu-hat (,, 3 , ; -), is now commanded by CHI kNNG Yinrch?ang ( and comprises two inde- pendent regiments, each with five compxzniesrbattalions are omitted,. The 2 Independent Regiment is at Hsinhu. This division was recently ordered to Heungte and Chentsun (11313, 22-58). 4. Other units of the former 2 Division are as follows: a. The Chungehan Independent Regiment. The 1 Company of the i Battalion of this regiment is at Teuiwei, north of Chienshan. b. The 3 Artillery Regiment, with the 7 Battery on Santsao (113-22, 2205). 5. Each battalion has 3 companies of infantry in addition to I section of a.r- tillery and a total of 70-80 officers and men. 6. The 1 Regiment of the Kwangtung lukien Border (KB) Column, formerly at Chienwu, was recently ordered to Canton. Many troops have deserted from the 4 Sub.Colurn of the X112 Column under TSBNG T iers chish (f . f ) which was formerly at Hengmen and. Chtao. ~, The KK Column and the K'B Column will be merged into a river defense command of the provincial defense army comprising one corns and. three columns under TSNTG and WA,:G. 8. Communist troops on Tahengchin and Santsao include two infantry regiments of the 130 and, 131 Divisions and one artillery battalion of the 144 Division. * mr.
