1. nt it i believed that these bridges were closed by order of the Soviets
s:or r litary reasons. Highway F-96 from Zossen to Heuhof passes by the Hq GCFG. Tho
road will probably continue to be closed indefinitely. Highway F-71a between Dolls
and G~rdelegen wars prdbably closed for the duration of advance combat practice firing
at-the Letzlinger Heide troop training grounds. Highway F-245 between Helmstedt and
Barneberg was probably closed for security reasons, because the highway crosses the
zonal boundary.
