Between 8o3o a.m,, end 3 pm. on 22 September 1953, the following aircra t
were observed at Wiener Neustadt (0 4$/X 34) airfield1 48 i4iG-15s, it
cluding 26 in front, of the flight control station, 12 along Badener Lt 'use>e,
and 10 in the depression near the pyrotechnic plant; 2 Yak-lls~ 1 mono-
plane of an unidentified type near the flight control station; and vbout~
3 Pe. 2s near the northern temporary buildings. There was an 8/10 to 101W
overcast at an al itud..e of about 1,000 meters, a westerly wind? of about
5 km/h, poor visii ility, with intermittent rain showers. The MG-15s along
Eadener Strasse were fuarded by sentries wearing black-bordered blue Ca.~rr,
