THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1G During the period from 1.0 to 211 August 1953 no partisan activity,
sabotage, accidents or interruptions were observed an the Frankfurt/
Oder-Brest railroad line by the railroad men who travel the route.
2.. Between 20 and 21 August, traffic slacked off to a considerable degree,,
Three to five trains went to Brest daily. Of these s one was a uranium
train, one a gasoline train, one contained printed matter from Leipzig,
and one to two were loaded with machine parts, industrial equipment,
and the like, Four to five trains left Brest every day. Of these, one
was empty, two to three contained crude iron for processing, and one
consisted of grain and refril>_erator cars. No troop trains were observed
during this period,,,
3. In late Aur?u.st or early September 1953 there will be a ??reat change in
the personnel of the railway brinades going to Brest. The contracts of
most of the brigade personnel will run out, and in sourcegs opinion the
majority will be replaced by new personnel n l/
