An AA grun emplacement was observed south of the radar installation and
east of the fuel dua~apo No details could identified
A barracks installation guarded by a sentry wearing red.-bordered black
epaulets with tank insignia was located at the road fork at the north-
eastern exit of Zer'bet in the direction of Dobritz 0 Along this road just
north of the barracks installation were multi-family houses which were
frequented by female Soviet soldiers with hlack-bordered blue epaulets and
female Soviet civilians. Thee personnel either individually or in small
groups and carrying blankets, were observed proceeding toward the airfield..4

to In the morning on /+June 1953, there was air activity by swept-back jet
fighters. at Zerbst airfield o Fourteen planes were parked along the runwey ,.
while additional planes were aloft. MiO-15s, including red V*os l ip, 222,
229, 231? and 237, 'took o'f individually and in elements of two and were
aloft for 20 to 25 minutes. I.
In the fuel dumnp, two permanent pipe lines were being constructed about 50 czn 25X1 C
above ground,,.
On 10 June, one SCR-602 tyta radar set and one radar set of another type
which belonged to Zerbst airfield were observed in the woods southeast of
kilometer marker 77.9, about 1 km south of Kerchau v Three low wooden buildings
with auaartering facilities for 10 men each were near the sets. One line
extended from the sets to Zollmuehle where it connected to the commercial
electric mains, another one extended to the airfield. The installation odds
