ported by other sources. They irol.uded 7 troop trains carrying the
20th Army AT Arty Brig (US) from Brandenburg; and 8 troop trains
with components of the 34th Arty Div (US) from Potsdam and Wildparko
The troop trains from Brandenburg to Hillerslebon and, Wolmirstedt
probably carried components of the 10th Gds Tank Div, In 1952, the
rail movements from Brandenburg on 14, 15 and 16 April included
five troop trains,
2 5X1A3? q9mmento It is believed that the blocking of the railroad line
mentioned and the troop trains from Frankfurt/Oder to a southerly
direction were connected with the movement of the 7th Gds Mecz Div
to Lieberose. It is not yet clear whether Soviet units also moved
to Cottbus and Jueterbog. It is doubted whether new Soviet troops
arrived from the U.S.S.R., although a large number of flatcars was
dispatched to Brest Litovsk during the last weeks indicating that
these cars could have been used for the transportation of troops
from Brest Litovsk
