Representatives of my office have discussed with repre-
sentatives of your office our desire to be permitted to call
upon individuals listed in your Security Hearing Board Roster,
established pursuant to Executive Order 1050, to serve on
Boards to be convened by this Agency. In return, we would be
pleased to nominate individuals of this Agency for service on
Boards convened to hear cases involving members of the Depart-
ment of Defense.
I would like formally to propose this arrangement which
I feel would operate to our mutual benefit. If you concur,
