IMAGE QUALITY: THE OVERALL IMAGE QUALITY OF THIS MISSION IS FAIR. INTERMITTENT SMALL OUT-OF-FOCUS AREAS ARE PRESENT IN APPROX- IMATELY THE FIRST 600 FRAMES OF THE FORWARD AND AFT MATERIALS. A GRADUAL CHANGE. IN IMAGE QUALITY IS APPARENT FROM THE BEGINNING OF....... THE MISSION TO THE END (FAIR TO GOOD). INTERPRETATION SUITABILITY OF THIS MISSION IS FAIR. CLOUD COVER AND HAZE OBSCURE APPROXIM PERCENT OF THE ENTIRE MISSION. 2. MISSION DATA: A. THE FIRST SIX FRAMES (TITLED 3 CONTAIN SPLASHES OF FOG SPACED APPROXIMATELY 48 INCHES APAR FRAMES 141 THRU 169 AND 178 THRU 203',CONTAIN A FOG PATTERN OF Ate, ANCP CZ MODERATE DENSITY WHICH DEGRADES APPROXIMATELY TWO-THIRDS OF THE SAij1 11 zn ENTIRE FILM. WEB. THE 'FOG EXTENDS FROM THE NON-TITLED EDGE TOWARDyITjj 1= THE CENTER OF FORMAT-. A SIMILAR FOG PATTERN WAS PRESENT IW'THE TWO MISSION. A FOUR INCH SEGMENT OF FRAME 689 CONTAINS AHEAT SPLICE AT (1) FORWARD CAMERA (1-8): FOUR SPLICES ARE PRESENT IN THIS THE BEGINNING OF THE MISSION. THE LAST 0.25 INCHES OF SCAN APPEAR TO BE OF SLIGHTLY HEAVIER DENSITY THAN. THE REST 'OF THE FORMAT' THROUGH- OUT THE MISSION. THE SECONDARY IMAGES ASSOCIATED WITH HIGHLY REFLECTIVE OBJECTS ARE PRESENT THROUGHOUT THE=MISSION.'THE LAST NINE FRAMES CONTAIN FOGGING ASSOCIATED WITH CAMERA SHUTDOWN. (3) BOTH CAMERAS: BANDING IS NOTICEABLE IN THE FIRST 2.0 INCHES OF SCAN. THERE ARE SEVERAL INSTANCES OF SEVERE CROSS-TRACK' SMEAR DUE TO VEHICLE MANEUVERING. EDGE FOG IS . PRESENT ALONG BOTH EDGES INTERMITTENTLY. D. PHYSICAL DEGRADATIONS: iQ~ ST MISSIONS. HOWEVER. IN BOTH TESTS. THE FOGGING OCCURRED NEAR ONE END AND A TAPE REPAIRED-TEAR AT THE OTHER END. FRAMES 675 THRU 1015 HAVE BEEN RETITLED. (2) AFT CAMERA (I-7): SEVEN HEAT SPLICES ARE PRESENT IN THIS MISSION WITH ASSOCIATED HANDLING. MARKS. DROPLETS OF A FOREIGN SUBSTANCE ARE PRESENT IN FRAMES 1013 AND 1014. FRAMES 75-1 THRU 120 'HAVE BEEN. THE PROCESSING FACILITY TITLED THE MATERIAL IN THIS MANNER SO THAT THE'TITLED FRAMES AND FRAME COUNTERS WOULD CORRESPOND FOR BOTH CAMERAS. 4. POSITIVES: PRINTING AND PROCESSING ARE GOOD.
