1. SIGNIFICANCE:
THIS BRIEFING BOARD DEPICTS PROBABLE STORAGE FACILITIES ON ROUTE
96 IN THE VICINITY OF ITS JUNCTION WITH A NEW ROAD UNDER CONSTRUCTION
BETWEEN THE SE KONG (RIVER) AND ROUTE 96.
2. LOCATION:
THE FACILITIES ARE LOCATED AT 1530N 10656E AND 1529N 10656E ON
THE EAST AND WEST SIDES OF ROUTE 96, 22 NM NORTH-NORTHWEST OF BAN BAC.
3. MISSION READOUT:
REVEALS THE FOLLOWING PROBABLE
STORAGE FACILITIES:
A. TWO CAVE ENTRANCES ARE OBSERVED ON THE WEST SIDE OF ROUTE 96
AT UTM YC147O82 AND UTM YC148081.
B. A POSSIBLE CAVE ENTRANCE IS LOCATED AT UTM YC143079.
C. A BUNKER IS OBSERVED EAST OF ROUTE 96 AT UTM YC145O81 AND
VEHICLE TRACKS ARE NOTED BETWEEN THE ROAD AND THE BUNKER.
