Dear Genera " osenberg,
On behalf of the members of the Washington Area Operations Centers
Conference I want to thank you and the personnel of Space Command for making
our visit so profitable and enjoyahle. After my last visit, I commented to
General Hartinger that the potential of Space Command seemed unlimited. This
is even more true today. While a year ago there was still an evolving
concept, today the reality is coming to the fore and it's great. I also am
pleased that the concept too of the need for a broad contextual basis for
making tactical warning evaluations is becoming instilled in everything that
the Command does.
The importance of the operations and intelligence interworking (not
interface) which was stressed by you but, more importantly, evidenced in all
that we saw, also underscored an issue which is vital. to our nation's
security.
Please thank all who were involved and particularly my old friend, Cecil
Fulford, and also Tom Moorman for his excellent presentation. Hope to see you
back here.
