1. Attached are two additional contract proposals for which we would
appreciate your consideration and, if appropriate, your approval. We intend
to let both contracts to applicants in process for this office. As such, we
expect them to be funded under SOC 2539.

2. As I have indicated in previous correspondence, ALA would be close to
being overdrawn in the external contracts account if the contracts you have
approved come in at our estimated cost. The latest figures available,
however, indicate that several of the contracts signed recently will cost us
less than originally anticipated. As a result. we will be able to afford the
contracts above with no reprogramming.
