reouirements at the University of South Carolina the attached text entitled:

2. When approved, I intend to submit the manuscript as Chapter 3 of my
dissertation. Chapters 1 and 2 were approved for submission on 24 January
1984. I am forced to submit the dissertation in a piecemeal fashion to enable
my advisor to evaluate the progress of my research. An oral defense of the
entire dissertation will be made at a later date.
3. To the best of my knowledge, none of the material presented in the
manuscript is classified. I will not be identified in STAT
the manuscript as a CIA empl .
