At a PFIAB meeting as soon as possible there should be a briefing
on language training, language reserves and..the-4who1,~ question of
language capability in CIA, in the Community, including the relationship of our language activittyntohthattofnNSA,
State and the military, the interplay between them, etc. Senator Schmitt,
a. new member of the PFIAB, is keenly interested inthis, particularly
in - the i dea of creating a language reserve and PFIAB in general should
know something about where we stand on language. capability and the
progress being made in-jmproving it.
