was presented a Quality Step Increase.
2. DDS Staff Meeting
a. The major portion of the meeting was devoted to a briefing
by on space requirements. We need another headquarters
size building to handle requirements.
b. Suggestion and Awards Program. The DDS is doing quite well.
31% of the suggestions submitted originated from the Support Directorate.
Of these submissions 57% were adopted.
. c. The ceremony commemorating the 19th anniversary' of the Agency
will be attended by George Carroll and Vice President Humphrey,
3. DDP Staff Meeting -- C/OS attended
a. New appointments:
DD/S&T's resignation will be effective 23 September. He will
be joining Hughes Aircraft Company. Carl Duckett will be acting
until the appointment of a new chief, probably in the spring.
