NATO Defense Coitexe At our request _ the Agency's representative to CINCLANT. discussed the subject of the NATO Defense College with appropriate staff officers. He advised that Z5 per cent of each class are selected civilians at the equivalent grade of colonel who may serve in key NATO pots. suggested that we explore the NATO College further with Admiral ?ard. U. S. delegate to the NATO Military Ccxmitteee in the Pentagon. We have requested OCR/ Liaison to make Initial Inquiries to Admiral Ward.
