SIGNIFICANT ITSMS Nothing to report. 25X1A9a II. OTHER ITEM Information Reports Familiarization IRF : Miss of Afric successfully completed tutorial training in IRF 23 March. Counterintelligence Operations Course: A report for Course No. 43 will go forward this date. Four persons to date have been enrolled for Course 44J. to begin 16 April. Records Officers Course: Course No. 8 began 26 March with 23 students and will conclude 30 March. Covert Action Operations: Course No. 51+, scheduled to begin 26 March, was cancelled per DTR due to insufficient enrollment. The four students entered in Course No. 54 state they will enroll in Course No. 55? 25X1A9a and others of OTR attended the showing of a film, "The Village Which Refused to Die," in a U.S. Army projection room in the Pentagon. The showing was arranged by Major - of General 25X1A9a 25X1A9a s office. The film, which was made by a cameraman of a commer- cial TV station in Sacramento, California, protrays the continuing battle of the inhabitants of Binh Tung village in South Vietnam against the communist Viet Cong guerrillas. Mr. ~ pointed out that while the25X1A9a film has certain weaknesses, it would have definite value for training in Counter-Insurgency, particularly since it captures on the screen the grim realities of current anti-guerrilla operations in Southeast Asia. 25X1A9a Mr. - suggested to Mr. of Graphics Registry, who 25X1A9a also attended the showing, that an Agency copy of the film be obtained. In addition to working with Mr. - on this, Mr. - has attended a House Space Committee hearing on the role of atomic energy in the space program. Professor Teller addressed the hearing and, according to Mr. -, gave a very interesting presenta- tion, particularly in regard to his thoughts on US USSR space coopera- tion. III.
