MEMORANDUM FOR: Chief, Operations School, OTR
SUBJECT: Request for Special Tradecraft Course
1. It is requested that a special tradecraft course of
one week duration beginning 6 June 1966 be arranged for
personnel of There are five people involved, the
most recent of whom EOD's 1 June 1966.
2. Due to time limitations we find it impossible to
enter them in a regularly scheduled course.
3. It is recommended that course content be tailored
to fit their needs. Reference is made to the OTR publica-
tion, "Guide to Instruction in Basic Tradecraft." All Sec-
tions as listed should be covered. However, the Sections
on Agent Acquisition and Reports can be deemphasized as
these are not of primary concern to these personnel. Major
emphasis should be placed on Section V, "Means of Circum-
venting the Active Opposition."
4. It is further recommended that these men be trained
at Headquarters or, if this is not possible, at 1000 Glebe
