As requested, following is a report of significant
activities for this office for the preceding week.

visited the Department of State to discuss medical support
in East Asia with the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Medical
Services.

Director of Medical Services addressed the
11 June on the subject of "Field Mee ca
`o ems an era ional Applications of Medicine."
2. On 13 June DIMS and .Chief, Field Support Staff
of our Psych atric Consultant Panel from Boston, participated
in a meeting of the OMS Behavioral and Social Sciences Committee
12 June. Discussion concerned methods of making the Agency
aware of the usefulness of knowledge of these sciences.
S. Deputy Chief, Psychiatric Staff is attending (12-14
June) the Fourth Annual Conference on Alcohol presented by
the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism at
the Shoreham-AmericanaHotol here in Washington.

its efforts of several years in the application of the
Assessment Center for the identification and development of
supervisory level personnel.
