t.', a Meeting on SKYLINK and long range plans for automation
of field terminals. The DDO pressed quite hard for specific
dates for automating field terminals which are not firmly estab-
lished at this point in time. They expressed a strong desire to
have maximum automation of clerical functions as well as communi-
cations functions in the field. They were not completely satisfied
with the CAPT concept as they desire a "paperless" system.

S. Slanal Center Air Conditioning,. The switch-over to
the new chilled water system in t he Headquarters Signal Center
was completed last Sunday. MAX-II and ACT were down for six
hours during the changeover. Alternate routing procedures were
employed with no delay of high precedence traffic and no large
build-up of routine traffic.
