DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE OF PROJECT
In a memorandum to the Executive for A&M dated 27 October 1947 the Director
ordered that all travel performed by the Director, Deputy Director and Executive
Director be charged against unvouchered funds.
This is to confirm that this blanket travel authority is extended and the costs
of all travel incidental official expenses and entertainment incurred by the
above named officials while in a travel status during the fiscal year 1949 shall
continue to be charged to unvouchered funds. Individual travel authorizations
will not be required.
This project establishes funds from which such expenses will be met,
