1. This concerns a request from = to replace the present 25X1A6d
telephone service (a magneto crank type
service, not in keeping with security of operations) with four
individual dial extensions that are tied in directly with the
25X1A6d -board, thence to Washington if necessary.

2. The proposed installation would increase the monthly
cost of the present service to rom $153.20 25X1A
to $452.00 per month, an increase of $298.80. The memo states
the installation could not be accomplished before spring and
that funds to pay for the increased cost for the few remaini.n,
months of the present fiscal year would be available at = 25X1A6d
and that the cost for future years would be included in the
budget.
3. It is recommended that memo be forwarded to the
Real Estate and Construction Division for review and recommenda-
tions. A buck slip is attached for your signature.
