SUBJECT : Survey Procedure
1. Logistics advises that the headquarters regulation re
"Boards of Survey" is scheduled to go to on or about
16 November 1953? This regulation will authorize
installations to take final action on Reports of Survey not in
excess of $100.00. This matter has been discussed with Colonel
- and he advised the $100.00 amount will solve his problems
and if the regulation is in being before the end of 1953, a special
interim authorization extending the survey authorization contained
in to him will be unnecessary.
2. In view of this it is recommended that no action be taken
at this time on memorandum, Tab A, and that this matter
be placed in a pending file to come up on 1 December 1953 if the
regulation has not been published by that d te,
