SUBJECT : Loss of Experienced Employees
1. Your memorandum of 28 January 1958 requests information
concerning the extent to which retention of a capable staff in
grades GS-11 and above is threatened by offers from commercial
companies and others.
2. The Audit Staff has had seven resignations during the
past two years which is a fairly high turnover rate for this
staff; however, not a single case can be attributed to a solici-
tation by an outside organization.
