1. This memorandum is for information only. Progress. as of
30 April 1955, in the revision of agent contracts to provide for the tax-
ability of allowance payments in set forth below,

Z. The 31 cases pending in the Contract Personnel Division will
be completed within about a week.
3. Various follow-ups have been undertaken to obtain the remain-
ing requests from the Divisions, including direct follow-ups by the Contract
Personnel Division and a requested follow-up by the Office of the Special
Support Assistant. Requests from three of the Divisions are expected
which would account for most of the overdue requests. Our
up efforts will, of course, be continued until all requests are received
:see otherwise disposed of.
