To date, seven (7) meetings of the Joint tics Committee have been held. The first meeting on was for the purpose of establishing procedural methods for accomplishment of those objectives set forth in the referenee. 4. Successive meetings have been spent in the development of gieties Appendix to the Unconventional Warfare Annex of the Strategic Capabilities Plan. Although this is the first to develop such en Appendix, considerable progress has been rds firming a draft that will further the planning for hasn't of the wartime mission of the Central Intelligence 5. The development of the Appendix does not ccit the Director of Central Intelligence nor the Secretary of Defense to a I position. The final proposed draft will be staffed through the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and interested Offiees of the Agncy prior to transmittal to Unified Commanders in the field. As a matter of prime interest to the Agway, it should be noted tbat upon receipt of the Logistics Appendix in Unified Commendat a requirement will have been generated an Unified Commanders for the submission to the Joint Chiefs of Staff of a eemprehensive Logistics Appendix to their Unconventional Serfare plan.
