SUBJECT . Revised Regulation No.- "Honor Awards"
REFERENCE Original of Subject Revised Regulation, with
Attached Concurrence Sheet and Memoranda

1. Colonel White has concurred in the attached version of
Regulation No. but he has raised the question of the
advisability o aving it prepared in final form for the Director's
signature. He feels that it would be consistent with past issuances
of a similar nature to have it prepared for the signature of the
Deputy Director (Support) rather than for that of Mr. Dulles, and
that this change will not require re-coordination.
2. Also, it is my understanding from Mr. - that it 25X1A9a
is planned to revise Section I.a of the Regulation to include pro-
vision for the selection of an alternate for each principal member
of the Honor Awards Board. I gather too that the recent changes in
organizational structure within the Agency will be reflected in
changes, where appropriate, in the language defining the term
