la Attached is a proposed revision of Regulation No.
"Organization and Functions, Central Intelligence Agency "
2, No changes have been made in the text of the Regulation,
except those necessary to change titles to comply with the recent
revisions,
3. The organization chart has been revised to reflect the changes
in the Office of the Deputy Director (Support} and the Deputy Director
(Plansj. The DD~P-Admin Staff has been eliminated and the CI Staff has
been added,
!~. At the time this chart was drawn the status of PAPS had not
been clarified, and you wi11 note they are not indicated on the chart,
If they are to be in fact indicated as another staff the should be
added at this-time, prior to publication, and indicates
that the change can be accomplished in a few days. In the event the
change was desired later, it would require republishing of the entire
Regulation,,-due to the layout of the material.
5. It is recommended that the chart be returned to Regulations
Central Staff for the addition of PAPS and then resubmitted for authen-
tication by the D3xector.
