SUBJECT: Visit of Foreign National (U)
1. The Chief of Staff, USA, has invited Dr. Hans Speidel, Senior
West German Representative to SHAPE, to visit the United States during
the period 21 September - 12 October 1955.
2. Purposes of visits
,a. General orientation on the U. S. Army organization and
operation.
Schools.
b. General orientation on the operation of U. S. Service
3. It is requested that the Foreign Liaison Office, Office of the
Assistant Chief of Staff, G-2, Department of the Army, be advised of any
desired appointment for the above-named individual.
