1. The attached tables reflect some of the activities of certain
components of the Office of Security during OCTOBER 1966.

The work load for evert cases is still heavy. According
to OS records, the overt cases received for September (3754) reached
an all-time high. For October 1966, 2576 overt cases were received
compared to 201$ for October 1965. With a decrease in the receipts
for October 1966 of overt cases, this has afforded an opportunity to
the covert area to concentrate on the covert approval requests.
