1 December - 31 December 1966
1. Progress on renovation of the Langley Signal Center con-
tinues at a moderate pace with no major problems to date, however
the shortage of experienced technicians is a continuing problem.
2. Although we continue to have many KY-3 component failures,
the system down time for the past month has been kept to less than
.3%. This low percentage of down time is directly attributable to
the fine performance of the Langley Technical Section.
3. A KY-3 with call director is now operational at SPS and
the R&D Lab.
4. Due to holiday leave and the general shortage of tech-
nicians we have slipped a bit on our P.M. schedules and overtime
will continue to be required in the foreseeable future.
